These are words that I live by now, I find time to draw as often as I can and since I have started drawing more so has my son. I have recently read Brian Hitch’s Ultimate Comics Studio. Even though I don’t draw comics I love to see peoples takes and different styles they use. This book gives great tips and tricks about shading, composition, what tools to use and best ways to use them (there is more but that is up to you to find out). This book has great information, is under 120 pages, full of graphics, and easy to read. Continue reading

I love making cool things for my kids and when I stumbled onto a video of someone customizing shoes I thought I could surprise my son with a pair of custom Adventure Time shoes (One of his Top 5 shows). His first time wearing the shoes was at the 2012 Edmonton Comic and Entertainment Expo.
